Craig Randall has set a new BAL single-game scoring record after exploding for 54 points, leading RSSB Tigers to a dominant 104–92 win over Tanzania’s DAR City on Saturday, 4 April.

It was an unforgettable night for the 29-year-old guard as he not only broke the BAL scoring record but also set a new mark for the most three-pointers in a game with 11 threes, surpassing his teammate Axel Mpoyo, who had previously recorded 10 threes in BAL 2025 with APR.

Randall, who is now averaging 36+ points per game in the BAL 2026, also became the first player to score 50+ points in a single BAL game.

Jo Lual-Acuil previously held the record for most points in a BAL game, after scoring 42 in 2024, a year in which he was also named MVP with Al Ahly of Benghazi.

Terrell Stoglin also recorded 41 points in 2022 while playing for AS Sale.

It is fair enough to say that RSSB Tigers have been the best team in the Kalahari Conference as the Rwandan side has now won all four of their games and sits at the top of the standings, having already secured a spot in the BAL 2026 playoffs, which will take place in Kigali.

Mangok Mathiang contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds for RSSB Tigers, while Antino Jackson added 15 points.

Meanwhile, Daniel Uzodinma and Deng Junior Madut led DAR City in scoring with 21 points apiece.

RSSB Tigers will be back in action on Sunday against Nairobi City Thunder, while DAR City will take on Petro de Luanda on the final day of the Kalahari Conference.
