American YouTuber IShowSpeed will visit Rwanda for the first time as part of his Africa tour, which starts on December 29, as he announced.
IShowSpeed shared today that he will be streaming in Africa for the first time. He called this move "Speed Does Africa."
His announcement was met with enthusiasm by fans, particularly those in Africa. Many had been asking him to visit and stream live on the continent, just like he did in other regions.
The 20-year-old YouTuber confirmed that he will tour 20 African countries in 28 days, including Rwanda.
The countries are Rwanda, Algeria, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Egypt, Eswatini, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Liberia, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Senegal, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
This is not IShowSpeed's first continent-wide tour; he previously toured the United States in 35 days during an event called "Speed Does America," which started on August 28.
He has also toured various European countries at different times, as well as parts of Asia, Australia, and New Zealand.
IShowSpeed began streaming regularly in 2020, but he gained significant popularity in 2021 due to viral clips of his energetic reactions on YouTube.
He is also known as a die-hard fan of Cristiano Ronaldo, whom he met in June 2023 in a moment that went viral.
IShowSpeed, who has 46.8 million subscribers on his main YouTube channel, was named 2025 Streamer of the Year earlier this month, beating well-known streamers like Kai Cenat.
