Nigerian singer-songwriter Temilade Openiyi, real name Tems, has announced that she will perform in Rwanda in 2025.

This comes after some Rwandan concert organizers strove to bring the 29-year-old musician to perform for the first time in Kigali but fired a blank.

Tems shared on her social media that she would perform in Rwanda after her forthcoming show in Johannesburg, South Africa on 20 March 2025. She also divulged that will perform in Kenya, Ghana and her native country, Nigeria, next year.

The “Love Me JeJe” hitmaker will perform in Rwanda as a part of her ‘Born in the Wild’ album world tour.

She has previously completed her concerts in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Norway, and Germany, among others, as a part of her recent album world tour.

Tems rose to fame in 2020 after collaborating with Wizkid on the song “Essence,” which, after the release of its remix version with Justin Bieber, peaked at number eight on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

She later released other megahits, including “Me & U,” “Love Me JeJe,” and “Crazy Tings,” among others.
