REG BBC basketball club has strengthened their roster ahead of the Rwanda Basketball League (RBL) playoffs with the signing of Niger shooting guard Abdoulaye Harouna.

Harouna arrives from the Moroccan side, FUS Rabat, bringing valuable African basketball experience to the REG team alongside Will Perry to prepare for their semifinal clash against Patriots BBC.

During his BAL career, he has become one of the competition’s all-time leading scorers, surpassing the 500-point mark with 532 points.

The 6ft5 guard will add scoring ability, versatility and leadership to the squad as REG look to compete for the RBL title, which they last won in 2022.
