APR thumped the newly-promoted side, AZOMCO, 103-67, while the Patriots were shocked by UGB 69-73 as the Rwanda Basketball League Week 2 got underway on Friday evening.

James Maye Jr's side pulled off a comfortable 57-32 lead at the half-time break before extending it to 71-50 at the end of the third quarter.
