Fall Ngagne scored two goals to spearhead Rayon Sports to a monumental 3-1 win over AS Kigali in a week-13 Rwanda Premier League clash at Kigali Pele Stadium on Saturday night.

It was Fall Ngagne's second brace of the season, having done it against Vision on 30 November, as the Senegalese striker now leads the league in scoring with eight goals.

Rayon Sports showed no signs of slowing down, going undefeated in 13 league matches and are eight points ahead of their arch-rival APR at the top of the table.

Both teams went toe-to-toe in the first half, although Rayon Sports looked resolved and reached the final third more than AS Kigali.

Rayon Sports got off to an impressive start to the second half, following Robertinho's adjustments at the half-time break with Aziz Bassane coming on for Prince Elenga.

Adama Bagayogo put the visitors ahead only four minutes into the second half, with a left-foot strike in the box after Ally Serumogo's pass.

A minute later, Fall Ngagne extended the advantage by excellently putting the ball past Adolphe Hakizimana following Bassane's effort.

AS Kigali were awarded the penalty after Serumogo fouled Jean Bosco Akayezu in the area. Osée Iyabivuze converted it, sending Khadim Ndiaye the wrong way to pull one back for the hosts.

Ngagne bagged a brace in injury time after barely touching the ball to put it into the net, following substitute Abdul Rahman Rukundo's powerful freekick on the edge of the box as Robertinho's side sealed a 3-1 triumph.

Rayon Sports sit on 33 points at the top of the table from 13 games, while Shaban Mbarushimana dropped to the third spot with 23 points, two points off APR.
