Kenyan Premier League giants Gor Mahia FC have completed the signing of Uganda forward Denis Omedi from APR FC ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Omedi left APR after a one-and-a-half-year spell, during which he struggled to make a significant impact and was unable to establish himself as a regular starter.
The move materialised when both clubs participated in the ongoing 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup in Kigali.
Gor Mahia topped their group to qualify for the semi-finals, while APR exited in the group stage despite defeating Vipers SC 2-1 in their final group-stage match.
The 32-year-old forward is expected to strengthen Gor Mahia's attack as they target success in the Kenyan Premier League and other competitions ahead of the new season.
