APR have dropped two points yet again as Abderrahim Talib's side were held to a 1-1 draw against rock-bottom side, Rutsiro, in a matchweek six league game that took place at Umuganda Stadium on Saturday.
The league holder ended the game fuming again over the refereeing calls, claiming that the foul leading to the penalty awarded to Rutsiro shouldn't have been stood.
APR were also frustrated about the call to disallow William Togui's header, which might have put them ahead, for offside.
The Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA) has already suspended five referees for making officiating errors after just five matchweeks of the Rwanda Premier League have been played.
APR voiced their concerns about some refereeing decisions during a scoreless tie against Kiyovu Sports on October 25, albeit FERWAFA dismissed their complaints.
It was a positive start to the game for APR as Denis Omedi scored a tap-in in the 34th minute following Hakim Kiwanuka's delivery.
However, Rutsiro, who have yet to secure three points this season, found a way to equalise, with Jean Claude Nizeyimana scoring from 12 yards in the 42nd minute after Pacifique Ngabonziza appeared to have tripped Obus Godspower in the area.
Togui thought he put APR in front yet again in the 76th minute, but his header was ruled out for offside.
APR are now seventh in the standings with eight points after four games, with two games in hand. They will take on their foe, Rayon Sports, on Saturday, November 8.
Meanwhile, Rutsiro sit in the rock bottom place with only two points after six league matches.
