Rwanda's Under-20 national team have been crowned the IHF Trophy Africa/Continental Phase victors after defeating all their opponents.
Rwanda achieved the feat following their towering 34-25 victory over Réunion on Wednesday morning, 6 November, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and will represent Africa at the Intercontinental Phase.
François Ngarambe's boys prevailed in all their four matches at the competition, starting with Congo Brazzaville, whom they forfeited for delaying arriving at the game's venue.
They pulled off a close-fought 34-30 win against Guinea before thumping Zimbabwe 55-23 and outclassing Réunion 34-25.
Rwanda's U20 team is anticipated to arrive in Kigali on 7 November.
